You are most likely all aware by now that the 2020 Camp Karoondinha resident camp season has been cancelled. Although saddened by this news, Woapeu Sisilija Lodge, Order of the Arrow, fully supports Susquehanna Council’s decision.

Regrettably, no “call-out” ceremonies will be performed in 2020, but the Lodge does tentatively still plan to induct new members this year. Unit elections can be held from June 8 to August 7, 2020. Scoutmasters can schedule elections by contacting the appropriate Chapter Chief and Lodge Advisor Dave Stancavage. Elected scouts will be informed of their Order of the Arrow candidacy immediately following their unit election. Candidates will then have the opportunity to complete their Ordeal during the weekend of September 11-12, 2020, or during any of the three weekends of the 2021 Scouts BSA resident camp season.

Information on other Lodge activities, such as Brotherhood ceremonies, Fall Pow Wow, and the Section NE-4A Conclave, will be communicated as soon as it is available.

Because of the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the plans outlined above are subject to change. Please continue to check social media and email for further announcements.
