Scouts BSA offers over 40 awards that individual Scouts can earn. These awards provide Scouts diverse opportunities to: learn and demonstrate additional skills (such as in aquatics and STEM), participate in unique outdoor activities, contribute to conservation efforts, and contribute to your unit and the community.
The council advancement committee wants to encourage Scouts to seek out these opportunities as part of their personal growth through the Scouting Program. What you learn and gain from these experiences is most important, with the earning of some recognition as a side benefit.

Units are encouraged to post a copy of this poster in the troop’s meeting area.
